Animal Control
Sealy Humane Department
The primary duties of the department are:
• to protect the public from wild, exotic, and domestic animals,
• to ensure all domestic animals are current on their rabies vaccinations, and
• enforcement of city ordinances and state laws.
Persons seeking to register their animal and receive a tag should go to City Hall with
verification that their animal has received rabies vaccination.
All animal bite cases should be reported to the Sealy Police Department so that
they may be fully investigated.
The police department operates a Humane Department between normal office hours,
and all calls for humane services should be directed to (979) 885-2913.
