Animal Control
The primary duties of the department are:

  • to protect the public from wild, exotic, and domestic animals,
  • to ensure all domestic animals are current on their rabies vaccinations, and
  • enforcement of city ordinances and state laws.

Persons seeking to register their animal and receive a tag should go to City Hall at 415 Main Street with verification that their animal has received its rabies vaccination.

All animal bite cases should be reported to the Sealy Police Department at 1320 Rexville Road or by calling (979) 885-2913 so that they may be fully investigated.

The Police Department operates the Animal Control Department during normal business hours, and all calls for animal control services should be directed to (979) 885-2913.
