The City of Sealy is looking for qualified applicants to fill the position of Administrative Assistant within the Police Department.  This position is responsible for answering a multi-line phone system, dispatching officers, and performing clerical functions that require considerable discretion and specialized knowledge.  Applicants must have strong organizational skills, be able to handle multiple tasks at one time, be able to complete State required reporting and be able to work in a confined area for more than 8 hours.  Applicants for this position must possess a high school diploma or GED, have a valid class C Texas Driver’s License, and be a certified TLETS operator.  Additionally, they must have at least four (4) years general business and clerical experience involving public contact.  Hourly pay range is $15.76 to $23.59 (negotiable with experience).  Individuals interested in applying must submit a completed application to Human Resources.  The City of Sealy is an equal opportunity employer.
