The City of Sealy Public Works Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent to perform duties essential in operating and overseeing the City’s wastewater treatment plant.  This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal utility laws and regulations and reports the Public Works Director. Other duties include supervising subordinates, assisting in budget preparation, and using a personal computer to complete reports and documents.  There is strenuous physical work outdoors and this position is subject to be on call after business hours. Minimum qualifications include:  a valid Texas Driver License and an acceptable driving record; Class “C” groundwater and Class “B” wastewater certifications; four (4) years experience in all phases of utility service maintenance; must pass drug test and physical examination. Hourly salary range is: $24.60 to $31.58 per hour (negotiable with experience). Applicants interested in this position must submit a completed application to the Human Resources office. This position is open until filled.
