Automatic Bank Drafting

The City of Sealy offers the convenience of monthly automatic payment of utility bills via bank draft. This is a FREE service that can provide customers with several benefits:

• Eliminate the need to write checks or get cash from the bank,
• Alleviate the need to remember due dates, and
• Avoid the hassle of paying bills in person or through the mail.

Under this payment system, the customer continues to receive a paper utility bill monthly. Each month on the due date of the bill, the City electronically drafts the customer’s bank account for the amount due.

To sign up for this service, customers should see one of the cashiers at City Hall (415 Main Street, Sealy). An original, voided check will be needed from the bank account the customer would like to be drafted. This service may be requested at any time after a customer’s utility account has been established.
